DU Parent’s Club

 

The DU Parent’s Club sponsors and organizes events to bring students and families together throughout the school year in an effort to fund needed Chapter projects.  During the 2010-2011 school year the Parent’s Club purchased new washers and dryers and cozy furniture for the chapter room.  Currently the Parent’s Club has taken requests from the undergraduates for a basketball court and house theater room that will be used for countless brotherhood events and activities that will enhance their experience at Purdue. 

DU Parent’s club President is Paula Kresca mother of Brandon (Senior and VP of Scholarship) and Blake (Sophomore) and Sheri Kluga treasurer, mother of Jim (Junior and DU President).   Some of the events that are being planned for the 2011 – 2012 school year are:

9-17-11 PU Football Game vs. Southeast Missouri State and Family Day at the DU house.  Bagels and coffee for undergraduates, new pledges and families to talk to someone about Parent’s Club and tour the house prior to the football game.  Family barbeque following the game with a corn hole tournament. 

Energy Baskets with encouraging message from home for students during finals week first semester.

Feb/ March (date to be announced) DU Family Trivia Night and Auction

Alumni golf outing during PU family weekend for DU undergraduates and family members.

Crock Pot home cooked meal during finals week second semester.
