Alumni
Delta Upsilon at Purdue is rapidly nearing its 100th Anniversary, and we have initiated more than 1,600 men since our founding. We now have more than 1,200 active Alumni, and we are considered to be among the best managed and fundamentally sound Fraternities on campus. Our Alumni Board members remain enthusiastic, integral parts of the organization – working with undergraduates to help them maximize their academic, career, and personal growth objectives.
The financial support provided by our Alumni over the years is without equal. Purdue DU Alumni regularly give more than $35,000 annually to support scholarships, conferences, and workshops for undergraduates. Their donations also foster continued investment in the Chapter’s physical plant -- one of the finest facilities on campus and in one of the best locations on campus.
Our Alumni Scholarships for undergrads rank among the best in the Big 10 as well as nationally, and our Chapter has eight scholarship programs that are administered by the University and by the Pur-DU Foundation. Approximately $20,000 per year is available!
In addition, our Alumni organization publishes a widely-circulated, well-known newsletter called the “Pur-DU” which is acknowledged to be one of best Alumni newsletters published by any Fraternity or Sorority Chapter in the Purdue Greek community. Alumni, students, parents, and rushees can see it by clicking on our homepage.
